Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanners. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to meet production targets in a fast-paced facility.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and RF equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load/unload freight using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick/assemble orders for shipment; check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners following OSHA safety standards.
