Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment. The role emphasizes accurate handling, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to work in a cold, controlled environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, organizing storage, reviewing orders for accuracy, and maintaining an orderly facility. High school diploma preferred; 3 months of related experience recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise and pick/ship orders.
• Ensure OSHA-compliant operation of equipment and maintain safe environment.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean work area.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or battery changes.
