Job summary

Americold is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products in a temperature-controlled environment. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities to contribute to team goals and ensure product integrity in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack, store, pick, and pack orders; check for accuracy, damage, and infestation.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners while following safety and OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
