Job summary

Americold is hiring a Forklift Operator in Arkansas to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts and related equipment. You will meet production standards while keeping a clean, organized facility and follow OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, picking orders, inspecting freight for damage or infestation, and assisting with inventory and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, and inspect freight for damage or infestation.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in accordance with OSHA standards to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or battery changes as needed.
