Job summary

Americold in North Little Rock, AR, is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanners.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, packing, labeling, and inspecting freight for accuracy and damage. Must meet production standards and maintain a clean work area. 3 months related experience preferred; a GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, and verify freight for accuracy, damage, or infestation.
• Operate equipment per OSHA standards to promote safety.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
