Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator in Springdale, AR to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using forklifts and RF scanners. Under general supervision, you will load and unload, store, and pick orders while maintaining safety and accuracy in a cold environment.

You will meet production standards, work in a team, and perform other duties such as inventory and battery changes. Physical requirements include lifting up to 55 lbs and working extended shifts in varying

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet attendance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, and check for accuracy and damage.
• Operate equipment safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
