Job summary

Americold Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Fort Smith, AR to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach equipment, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

Under general supervision you will meet production standards, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and assist with inventory tasks. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with at least 3 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack, store, and prepare orders for shipment; check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in accordance with OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and meet production standards.
• Assist with inventory and battery changes as needed.
