Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanners in a temperature-controlled facility.

Under general supervision, you will load/unload freight, stack merchandise, verify accuracy, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while meeting production standards. This role requires flexibility for overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
• Stack/store merchandise and pick/pack orders for shipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain cleanliness.
• Meet production standards and assist with inventory tasks.
