Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using various forklifts and RF equipment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and efficient performance within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and may have 3 months of related experience. Overtime, evenings, or weekend work may be required to meet production goals and shift demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
• Operate equipment safely in compliance with OSHA standards (forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners).
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
