Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down, stand-up, and high-reach forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment. You will help maintain accurate inventory and prepare orders for shipment across a temperature-controlled facility.

Under general supervision, you will meet production standards, follow OSHA safety protocols, and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack, store, and pick orders; verify accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners per OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Assist with inventory and forklift battery changes as needed.
