Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products in a temperature-controlled warehouse.

The role requires operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk-behinds, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and related equipment. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, selecting and packing orders, inspecting for damage, maintaining clean work areas, and complying with OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and label/sort/wrap/pack as directed by management.
• Operate equipment safely to promote safety and meet production standards.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
