Job summary

EMCOR Mechanical Services, based in Downers Grove, IL, is seeking an ERP COINS System Support Specialist to join our internal COINS ERP team. You will handle Tier 1 support, manage tickets in ServiceNow, and assist with DNS documentation while maintaining confidentiality and delivering strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a tech/ERP setting, familiarity with COINS modules, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience in a technology-related or ERP setting, COINS experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Job Costing, Payroll, HR, Work Order Management, Dispatch, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and attention to detail.
• HVAC construction and/or HVAC service industry preferred.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel).
• Proven reliability and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming ERP-related calls, emails, and ticket submissions.
• Triage, classify and resolve or escalate support tickets in a timely manner.
• Address Tier 1 COINS user needs with a customer service focus and log resolutions in ServiceNow.
• Perform basic system administration tasks (password resets, unlocking accounts, terminations).
• Collaborate with the support team to expand knowledge of ERP modules and processes.
• Participate in troubleshooting and testing of new software features and upgrades.
• Assist in file maintenance for all operating companies and with new modules or features.
• Create and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Assist in planning in-person user conferences and team meetings.
• Travel infrequently, approx. 10% of time.
