Job summary

Jobtailor in Downers Grove, IL seeks an experienced ERP support specialist to be the first point of contact for COINS-related issues and to triage tickets. You will log resolutions in ServiceNow and assist with basic system administration tasks, including password resets and user terminations.

You will work with the support team to expand knowledge of COINS modules, troubleshoot features, and document resolutions. Travel roughly 10% of time and support multiple operating companies.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in a technology-related or ERP setting.
• Familiarity with ERP modules such as accounts payable/receivable, job costing, payroll, HR, and dispatch.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• HVAC construction/service industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Triage, classify, resolve, or escalation support tickets in a timely manner.
• Address Tier 1 COINS user needs and log resolutions in ServiceNow.
• Manage basic system administration tasks, including password resets, account unlocking, and user terminations.
• Work with the support team to expand knowledge of ERP modules and processes.
• Participate in troubleshooting and testing new software features and upgrades.
• Assist with file maintenance for operating companies as modules or features are rolled out.
• Create new documentation and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Assist in planning in-person user conferences and team meetings.
• Travel infrequently as business needs arise, anticipated at approximately 10% of work time.
• Support approximately 30 EMCOR Operating Companies using COINS as their ERP system.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience in a technology-related or ERP setting; COINS experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Job Costing, Payroll, Human Resources, Work Order Management, and Dispatch.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple project tasks with excellent attention to detail.
• HVAC Construction and/or HVAC service industry preferred.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel required.
• Proven dependability, reliability, and personal accountability.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of work time as business needs arise.
