Job summary

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is recruiting a Cognitive Performance Specialist to support the U.S. Army Reserve Health and Fitness (H2F) program.

You will develop and deliver performance-psychology training to enhance Soldier readiness, resilience, and cognitive control under pressure, with field coaching to integrate curriculum into training events. The role requires advanced degrees in psychology or related fields, a CMPC is preferred, and the ability to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology or Master’s in Kinesiology/sport/performance psychology with relevant post‑graduate experience.
• CMPC certification from AASP is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of post‑graduation experience providing mental-skills training to high‑performing populations.
• Must maintain DHA credentialing requirements and any licensure.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and support Army Reserve training events, including evenings/weekends.
• Must obtain and maintain required security clearances as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive mental-readiness training program based on performance-psychology principles.
• Develop practical mental-skills resources, including tip sheets and guided exercises.
• Develop and deliver mental-readiness curriculum during H2F onboarding.
• Train Soldiers in cognitive skills to enhance performance under pressure.
• Provide field-based coaching and mentorship to H2F Integration Teams and Master Resilience Trainers.
• Travel routinely to Army Reserve locations and training events as required.
