Job summary

Serco Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Cognitive Performance Specialist to lead mental readiness and cognitive optimization for Soldiers within the H2F program.

You will develop, coordinate, and implement services across the brigade, delivering education, coaching, and mentoring on cognitive skills to enhance mission readiness. The role requires advanced degrees in relevant fields, at least three years of experience as a mental performance coach, and credentials such as CMPC or psychology licensure;

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Human Performance, Sport Psychology, Kinesiology/Exercise Science, or Counseling/Clinical Psychology.
• Three years in mental performance coaching with athletes or service members.
• Licensure or CMPC certification or ability to obtain within two years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Mental Readiness Programs across the brigade.
• Collaborate with Mental Readiness Director on assessment and improvement.
• Execute cognitive performance and mental readiness training in operational schedules.
• Provide coaching and mentoring on cognitive skills for mission execution.
• Schedule facilities and resources for approved courses and training.
• Review literature to keep the team updated on evidence-based practice.
• Support research and provide data to leadership and PD.
• Participate in in-service training and professional development.
