Job summary

ADM is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Decatur, IL, to oversee the maintenance of a cogeneration facility. The role manages maintenance and contract staff, sets safety and reliability standards, and collaborates with the Maintenance Superintendent to plan and execute maintenance for safe, efficient operations.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and strong communication with Operations.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety in the performance of maintenance work.
• Strong demonstrated expertise in mechanical & I&E maintenance with in-depth exposure to other areas.
• Ability to focus on identification of root causes and corrective actions.
• Strong organization skills and ability to plan priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, for coordination, training, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong familiarity with industrial maintenance.
• Must be proactive in dealing with conflict, influencing others, listening, management of priorities, organization and planning, partnering, and utilizing a proactive approach to reliability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate parts, materials, and equipment access to improve productivity, safety, and quality.
• Schedule manpower with Maintenance Team.
• Ensure safety, timely work, and clean work areas.
• Complete PMs on time and to high quality standards.
• Maintain strong communication between Operations & Maintenance.
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for services.
• Use Maximo and other systems to maintain maintenance data and reporting.
