Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks an Electrical Reliability & Maintenance Specialist to drive electrical maintenance strategies across the Cogeneration facility, Wet Mill, and Dry Grind operations. You will develop PM/PdM programs, standardize maintenance practices, and provide hands-on troubleshooting during major equipment failures.

This role requires strong leadership in safety, NFPA 70E and LOTO compliance, and close collaboration with contractors and planners to

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance.
Deep knowledge of low and medium voltage power distribution systems, MCCs, drives, motors, and transformers.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; hands-on experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and align PM/PdM programs across Cogeneration, Wet Mill, and Dry Grind areas.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting support during major equipment failures and assist with upgrades.
Oversee third-party electrical contractors and audit execution for quality and safety.
Plan outages, manage spare parts strategy, and draft asset lifecycle replacement plans.
Lead root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, LOTO, Arc Flash, and OSHA standards.
