Job summary

ADM is seeking an Electrical Supervisor (CoGen) in Cedar Rapids, IA to lead electrical maintenance strategy across Cogeneration, Wet Mill, and Dry Grind operations. The role partners with the Electrical Superintendent to standardize practices and ensure safe, reliable task execution, including contractor oversight and outage planning.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, a relevant degree, and strong diagnostic skills with MAXIMO experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance with deep knowledge of low and medium voltage power distribution systems, MCCs, drives, motors, and transformers.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent hands-on industrial experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities; familiar with preventative/predictive maintenance tools (thermography, ultrasound, motor circuit analysis, etc) and MAXIMO

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and align PM/PdM programs across Cogeneration facilities.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and review repair methods during major failures.
• Oversee third-party electrical contractors and audit execution.
• Plan outages, manage parts strategy, and draft asset lifecycle plans.
• Lead root cause failure analysis for significant electrical events.
• Ensure NFPA 70E, LOTO, Arc Flash, energized work standards and OSHA compliance.
