Job summary

NAES is seeking a Maintenance Manager at Linden Cogeneration Plant to lead the maintenance organization, drive reliability, and manage outages for a large-scale cogeneration facility. You will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective programs for gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, and balance‑of‑plant systems with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Extensive power plant maintenance and operations experience in a leadership, supervisory, or management capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge of combined-cycle and cogeneration equipment including gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, generators, and balance-of-plant systems.
• Proven experience developing and managing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Experience planning and coordinating maintenance projects and outages.
• Proficiency with CMMS and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
• Thorough understanding of power plant safety requirements and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• Effective communication and collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Compliance and vendors.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one and a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant maintenance organization and coordinate supervisors, planning and materials personnel, and technical resources.
• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all major systems.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of maintenance personnel.
• Promote a strong safety and environmental culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze equipment failures and performance to drive improvements and reduce downtime.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for planned and forced outages with required resources.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, contracts, and schedules.
• Coordinate parts, tools, inventories, and services for routine maintenance and outages.
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, maintenance history and reliability data.
• Administer and support the MOC process for changes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Compliance, contractors and vendors.
