Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead asset reliability, improve equipment performance, and guide maintenance strategies across the facility. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability teams to diagnose root causes of failures and implement durable solutions that maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires deep experience in predictive and preventive maintenance, RC&M/RCA methodologies, and strong communication.

Qualifications

15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing preferred with 10+ years of experience in reliability and maintenance (R&M) activities.
Proficient in predictive and preventive maintenance practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and CMMS.
Knowledge of RCA, Cause and Effect or FMEA methodologies.
Strong team player with the ability to proactively influence plant culture.
Experience in vibration, infrared, alignment, ultrasonic, motor circuit, and lubrication analysis.
Background working on rotating equipment, seals, piping, pumps, fans, blowers, and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Deploy the equipment reliability strategy and ensure it is integrated and part of Performance Excellence.
Promote safety by complying with ADM site policies, procedures, and standards.
Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within maintenance.
Provide technical expertise to improve reliability, maintainability, and system performance.
Support reliability improvement initiatives through data analysis, assessments, and troubleshooting.
