Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a General Manager to oversee a busy coffeehouse, drive sales and guest satisfaction, and lead a high-performing team. You will coach staff, manage schedules, ensure safety, and uphold brand standards across in-store and drive-thru channels.

Success requires strong leadership, coaching, and a customer-first approach, with a focus on operational excellence and financial results in collaboration with Area or District management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or guest service management experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Ability to work full-time (40–47 hours per week) with overtime including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing across all shifts, build schedules, and ensure bench strength.
• Develop and coach the team, set goals, recognize contributions, and reduce turnover.
• Own training, onboarding, and development initiatives.
• Uphold policies and maintain a safe, supportive environment for team and guests.
• Use Caribou systems to complete administrative tasks and monitor performance.
• Drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence with local marketing.
