Hy-Vee is seeking a Coffee Shop Department Manager in Dubuque, IA. You will lead a welcoming coffee shop team, set service standards, and drive profitability while delivering great product and experience to customers.

You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, manage scheduling and inventory, and analyze sales trends to plan promotions. A high school diploma is required with on-the-job sanitation training preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food service environments preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train, supervise and evaluate department staff.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Set and uphold department standards for customer service, cleanliness, sanitation, team relations and profitability.
• Build a friendly, welcoming atmosphere by leading by example and engaging with customers.
• Assist customers with finding products and carrying items to ensure a great visit.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise and evaluate department employees; handle disciplinary matters as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling, daily work plans and department goals with store leadership.
• Oversee ordering, replenishment, pricing, invoicing and department bookkeeping.
• Analyze weekly/monthly sales trends and plan promotions and displays.
• Maintain proper product temperatures, storage procedures and freshness standards.
