Job summary

FinishWorks is seeking a Technical Service Representative to deliver technical support and service for customers in the Indiana region. You will work with customers to optimize coating performance, resolve process issues, conduct product evaluations, and support new product implementations.

The role involves traveling within an assigned territory, providing training, and collaborating with lab, operations, product development, and sales teams to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of industrial finishing, coatings, manufacturing, lab, or related technical experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for assigned customers and territory accounts.
• Analyze customer issues and recommend solutions to improve product performance and processes.
• Conduct on-site product testing, evaluations, and process refinements.
• Provide customer training on products, techniques, and best practices.
• Support equipment installations, startups, and technical troubleshooting activities.
• Evaluate coating performance and assist customers with quality improvement initiatives.
• Document service activities and findings in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain knowledge of products, technologies, and industry trends.
