Job summary

FinishWorks is seeking a Technical Service Representative to provide expert coating support across an assigned territory. The role focuses on optimizing product performance, solving customer issues, and delivering on-site testing and training to ensure success.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of related technical experience, travel readiness, and strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of industrial finishing, coatings, manufacturing, laboratory, or related technical experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for assigned customers and territory accounts.
• Analyze customer issues and recommend solutions to improve product performance and application processes.
• Conduct on-site product testing, evaluations, and process refinements.
• Provide customer training on products, application techniques, and best practices.
• Travel throughout assigned territories to support customer needs.
• Prepare regular reports on customer activities, technical support efforts, and project progress.
