Polyglass seeks a Coatings & Restoration Specialist to support the Building Envelope Solutions portfolio. This remote, field-based role covers the San Francisco Bay area, Sacramento region, and adjacent markets, collaborating with architects, contractors, engineers, and distributors.

You will provide technical training and project support, develop regional sales strategies, and relay field feedback for product development while driving growth in Northern CA and nearby territories.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical or sales roles within the coating, roofing, or building envelope space.
• Experience in technical services or consulting is preferred.
• Strong ability to train customers and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers.
• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy in Northern CA, Central Valley, and Northern NV.

Location:Remote, field-based in San Francisco Bay area or Sacramento CA

Position Summary

The Coatings & Restoration Specialist will support our Building Envelope Solutions (BES) business. In this role, you'll partner with architects, consultants, contractors, engineers, and distributors by providing technical expertise, product training, and project support while driving sales growth throughout your assigned territory. This would have a heavy focus on Northern California (SF Bay area and north, Sacramento/Modesto area), CA Central Valley (Fresno/Visalia area), and Northern Nevada (Reno area).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers
• Sales support responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing job leads to contractors, processing substitution requests, developing contacts/repeat customers in the contractor, architectural, consultant, engineering and distribution
• Develop and execute a sales strategy in a specific region
• Supports National Technical Services manager with waterproofingand air and vapor barrierinstallation and design needs
• Develops technical guide for installation instructions,CAD drawings/system details, specifications, etc.
• Provides support to contractors, specifiers, consultants,architectsand building owners onsite, in person, or via conference calls to ensure successful project completions
• ProvideVoice of Customer (VoC) from the field to product management and R&D for new product development projects
• Support theBEStrainingfor both internal and external parties
• Manage relationships and promote Polyglass image/goals within requested industry associations (for exampleIIBEC,CSI, SWRI, etc.)

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of related industry experience in technical or sales role
• Background in technical services or sales
• Strong presentation, relationship-building, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction, waterproofing, roofing, or building envelope industry
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical,engineeringor business-related field

Location & Travel

• Remote position
• Up to 30% travel within the assigned territory
