Job summary

Polyglass USA, Inc. is seeking a District Sales Manager to promote our roofing and waterproofing products across the Charlotte region. You will build relationships with distributors, consultants, contractors, and architects while meeting monthly sales plans and forecasting trends.

This remote role requires 25%+ travel, strong communication, data analysis, and a drive to grow market share. You will report to the Regional Sales Leader and collaborate closely with the sales team to execute strategy

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of industry experience in sales
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The District Sales Manager is primarily responsible for promoting and selling the entire mix of Polyglass products in their territory while developing relationships with distribution, consultants, contractors, and architects. In addition to meeting a monthly budgeted sales plan, the DSM helps forecast trends and acquire competitive information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing sales and grow additional sales at the current customer base, under the direction of the Regional Sales Leader (RSL)
• Meet the assigned sales budget for the district
• Attend regular sales and strategy events with key distribution partners
• Actively prospect new distributors, contractors, and specifiers
• Explore project leads and opportunities in the assigned geographical sales district
• Report on product problems, competitive activities, and new sales opportunities at existing accounts in the sales district
• Plan and organize work effectively to get efficient and effective results
• Manage projects and achieve desired results efficiently and on time
• Analyze data and prepare reports
• Provide timely reports from the field

Required Qualifications

• Two to five years of industry experience as a sales representative, or any equivalent combination of related training and experience
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or the equivalent
• This position is remote with travel
• The area the job covers is assigned by district
• Extensive travel to various customers is required
• Intermittent travel to various facilities
• Ability to climb stairs often and ladders periodically

Travel

A minimum of 25% travel is required, specifically within the sales district.
