Polyglass USA, Inc. / Mapei Group is seeking a District Sales Manager to promote and sell the full Polyglass product line across North and South Carolina from a remote location, with substantial travel to customers.

In this role you will develop relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants and architects, meet the district’s sales budget, forecast trends, and provide timely field reports to the Regional Sales Leader.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of B2B sales experience in roofing, construction, or related industries.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Position Summary

The District Sales Manager is primarily responsible for promoting and selling the entire mix of Polyglass products in their territory while developing relationships with distribution, consultants, contractors, and architects. In addition to meeting a monthly budgeted sales plan, the DSM helps forecast trends and acquire competitive information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing sales and grow additional sales at the current customer base, under the direction of the Regional Sales Leader (RSL)
• Meet the assigned sales budget for the district
• Attend regular sales and strategy events with key distribution partners
• Actively prospect new distributors, contractors, and specifiers
• Explore project leads and opportunities in the assigned geographical sales district
• Report on product problems, competitive activities, and new sales opportunities at existing accounts in the sales district
• Plan and organize work effectively to get efficient and effective results
• Manage projects and achieve desired results efficiently and on time
• Analyze data and prepare reports
• Provide timely reports from the field

Required Qualifications

• Two to five years of industry experience as a sales representative, or any equivalent combination of related training and experience
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or the equivalent
• This position is remote with travel to the Carolinas
• Extensive travel to various customers is required
• Intermittent travel to various facilities
• Ability to climb stairs often and ladders periodically

Travel

A minimum of 25% travel is required, specifically within the sales district.
