Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Coastal & Navigable Waterways Practice Leader to lead federal feasibility studies under WRDA and bridge the gap between sponsors and USACE. You’ll manage staff, deliver complex navigational studies, and drive client relationships for strategic waterfront projects.

The role requires a Master’s degree in coastal engineering or related discipline, PE license, and 10+ years of coastal design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Coastal Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Coastal Engineering or related discipline required.
• 10+ years of design experience in coastal engineering and/or planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead federal feasibility studies under WRDA Section 203.
• Manage staff and a program to deliver navigational, economic and environmental studies.
• Oversee project delivery to meet client expectations and maintain quality standards.
