Job summary

HDR is seeking a Coastal & Navigable Waterways Practice Leader to guide federal feasibility studies and manage complex navigational, economic, and environmental analyses. You will bridge sponsors and USACE, guiding staff, and delivering projects to schedule and budget.

You will lead the development of market-leading solutions, advance professional development, and collaborate with Area Business Development Leaders to secure new work across HDR’s maritime market sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline required.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Professional registration such as PE, PTOE, PTO, PMP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead coastal and navigable waterways studies and projects for HDR’s Waterfront Infrastructure group.
• Coordinate with Area Business Development Leaders to develop pursuit strategies.
• Oversee staff development, training, and delivery of high-quality project outputs.
• Represent HDR in state and national professional organizations and ensure compliance with regulations.
