Job summary

EmergeOrtho, P.A. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the Coastal Region in North Carolina. The role provides administrative HR support, enforces policies, and helps run daily HR operations across offices in Jacksonville, Swansboro, and Wilmington.

Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, have at least one year of HR experience, and be proficient with HRIS and talent management systems. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of human resource experience preferred.
• Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring of qualified applicants; collaborates with managers.
• Conducts background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
• Implements new hire orientation and recognition programs.
• Administers compensation, benefits, and leave; handles disciplinary matters; supports performance management.
• Handles inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; escalates complex matters.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
• Maintains knowledge of HR trends and employment law; supports travel to offices as needed.
