Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a capable Co-Manager to support the General Manager, lead by example, and drive exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, high-volume store. You will coach Shift Managers and teammates, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and strong store performance.

Lead efforts to optimize sales, inventory, and cash controls while upholding RaceTrac brand standards and food safety compliance. This role offers promotion potential, hands-on leadership, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across shifts.
• Cultivate a guest-first culture and ensure welcoming interactions.
• Mentor Shift Managers through training and coaching.
• Empower teams by setting clear expectations and providing feedback.
• Foster open communication across all shifts.
• Support store-level strategies to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash controls.
• Drive promotional execution and ensure food service compliance.
• Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and aligned with RaceTrac brand standards.
• Champion Food Safety & Compliance and conduct quality checks.
• Maintain and organize documentation for audits or inspections.
• Drive collaboration and accountability across the team.
• Assist General Manager with staffing and scheduling as needed.
• Provide feedback on performance and support management.
