Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments
• Ability to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and sales

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team: Cultivate a guest-first culture, ensuring every interaction is welcoming and efficient; Mentor and support Shift Managers and team members through training and coaching; Empower teams by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and leading by example; Foster open communication and collaboration across all shifts.
• Support Operational Excellence: Assist in executing store-level strategies to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability; Monitor and manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash control; Drive promotional execution, ensure food service compliance, and elevate the in-store experience; Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and aligned with RaceTrac brand standards.
• Champion Food Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular food quality checks and coach the team on food safety standards; Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies; Maintain and organize required documentation for audits or inspections.
• Drive Results Through Collaboration: Analyze reports, identify trends, and take action to improve store performance; Support team scheduling and staffing needs in coordination with the General Manager; Provide performance feedback and help drive accountability across the team.
