Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior supervisor or leadership experience is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.
• Experience in books or retail is preferred.
• A love of books and reading is highly desirable.
• Ownership mindset and accountability are important.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Manager On Duty and drive store performance and customer experience.
• Coach category teams to improve sales and service and uphold standards.
• Ensure merchandising plan execution and maintain store compliance.
• Create a welcoming, safe environment for customers and associates.
• Oversee store operations including daily cash handling and banking tasks.
• Develop Associates and Leads through coaching, training, and feedback.
• Conduct daily briefings and regular meetings to align goals and communicate plans.
