RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is hiring a General Manager to lead a high-volume store. You will develop a guest-first culture, mentor Shift Managers, and empower teams with clear expectations.

The role emphasizes coaching, coaching, and data-driven decisions to drive sales and profitability across shifts. You will ensure food safety, brand compliance, and an outstanding guest experience, while managing inventory, vendor relations, and cash controls.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop a High‑Performing Team: Cultivate a guest‑first culture, mentor Shift Managers and team members.
• Empower teams by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and leading by example.
• Foster open communication and collaboration across all shifts.
• Support Operational Excellence: Drive store-level strategies to boost sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash control.
• Drive promotional execution, ensure food service compliance, and elevate the in-store experience.
• Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and aligned with RaceTrac brand standards.
• Champion Food Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular food quality checks and coach on safety standards.
• Drive results through collaboration: analyze reports, identify trends, and improve store performance.
