Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Co-Manager to be the heartbeat of the store, supporting the General Manager and leading by example to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will drive sales, mentor Shift Managers, manage inventory and cash control, and ensure food safety and brand standards in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing store team.
• Cultivate a guest-first culture and ensure welcoming interactions.
• Mentor and support Shift Managers and team members through training and coaching.
• Empower teams by setting expectations, giving feedback, and leading by example.
• Foster open communication and collaboration across all shifts.
• Assist in executing store-level strategies to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash control.
• Drive promotional execution, ensure food safety compliance, and elevate in-store experience.
• Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and aligned with RaceTrac brand standards.
• Champion Food Safety & Compliance and conduct routine checks.
