Job summary

Journeys is a teen retail leader looking for a Store Co-Manager to support the Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, hiring, and training staff to hit sales goals and protect company assets.

You will help recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, enforce policies, and drive a fun, full-service customer experience while supervising store operations in leadership's absence.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• 6-12 months retail sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Completion of training leading to Co-Manager or equivalent.
• Ability to work 45 hours per week and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high caliber employees.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide coaching and accountability to all employees.
• Enforce company policies and practices.
• Supervise daily store operations in absence of Store Manager.
• Oversee loss prevention practices in absence of Store Manager.
• Communicate store needs to management.
• Resolve customer issues effectively.
• Provide a fun, full service experience to customers.
• Complete bank deposits.
• Demonstrate Journeys culture to the team.
