Journeys is seeking a motivated candidate in Portland, OR to assist Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, training, and managing store personnel to achieve sales goals and protect company assets.

You will support hiring, train a successful sales team, and ensure adherence to company policies while promoting Journeys' culture. This role requires 45 hours weekly, with night/weekend shifts, and physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Lead and motivate sales team to meet store goals.
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach staff.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues.

Responsabilités

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring high-caliber staff.
• Train and develop a successful sales team; provide feedback and coaching.
• Ensure company initiatives are implemented to standard.
• Recognize talent and develop staff for growth within the company.
• Supervise daily store operations in Manager In Training’s absence.
• Oversee loss prevention practices.
• Communicate store needs to leadership.
• Provide a fun, full-service experience to customers.
• Understand Journeys culture and model it to the team.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Be ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Complete training leading up to Co-Manager position.
• Work 45 hours per week; night and weekend shifts.
