Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies, establish relationships with customers, and promote AUVELITY for major depressive disorder in adults. This field-based role will require gaining access to clinics and hospitals while maximizing engagement through digital channels.

SAMs will be responsible for product performance at a territory level and must be a disease category expert and product champion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management.
• 5 years of consistent top performance in the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical sales space.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
• Develop a territory business plan to achieve quarterly and annual goals.
• Promote AUVELITY in accordance with labeling and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop strong customer relationships and understand customer needs.
• Provide payer policy guidance and assistance with pre-authorization and appeals.
• Maximize use of marketing resources to grow prescriber confidence.
• Communicate territory activity and provide feedback to leadership.
• Complete training and administrative duties in a timely manner.
• Manage efforts within the assigned promotional budget.
• Collaborate across all corporate functions and attend medical congresses as needed.
