Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to drive commercial activities for AUVELITY in adult MDD, working with clinics, hospitals, and digital channels. The SAM will become a disease-area expert and product champion, supporting account management and stakeholder engagement in a dynamic market.

The role requires 5+ years in field sales/account management, CNS experience, and a track record of top performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management; 3 years Healthcare Professional CNS experience.
• 5 years of consistent top performance in the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales space.
• Psychiatry/CNS experience strongly preferred.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live in the territory geography.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers via virtual and live channels.
• Develop territory business plans to meet/exceed quarterly and annual goals.
• Promote within approved labeling in an ethical, compliant manner.
• Build strong customer relationships and understand their needs.
• Serve as a resource on payer policies and processes (eligibility, prior-authorization, denials).
• Maximize marketing resources to grow prescription opportunities.
• Communicate territory activity and results to leadership.
• Provide feedback to cross-functional teams on market changes.
