Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies and promote AUVELITY for major depressive disorder.

The role is field-based, requiring access to clinics and hospitals, with engagement through digital channels. You will develop territory plans, foster strong customer relationships, and navigate payer policies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quarterly and annual goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management.
• 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with CNS focus recommended.
• 5 years of top performance in pharmaceutical/biotech or medical sales.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live in the territory geography.
• Strong digital marketing aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Frequent driving and ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in virtual and live customer engagements.
• Develop territory business plan to meet goals.
• Promote within labeling guidelines in a compliant manner.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as a resource to staff on payer policies.
• Maximize marketing resources to grow prescribing confidence.
• Communicate territory activity to management and teams.
• Provide feedback to sales, marketing and operations.
• Attend trainings and complete administrative duties timely.
• Manage promotional budget and collaborate across functions.
• Travel as needed and support patient access programs.
