Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies and promote AUVELITY for major depressive disorder in adults. This field-based role requires gaining access in clinics or hospitals and engaging customers through digital channels.

The SAM will be a disease-area expert, managing territory performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive patient outcomes and payer access. Trainees welcome for adaptable roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management; 3 years Healthcare Professional CNS experience preferred.
• 5 years of top performance in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers through virtual and live encounters.
• Develop a territory business plan to meet quarterly and annual goals.
• Promote Axsome products within approved labeling, adhering to laws and guidelines.
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs.
• Serve as a resource on payer policies, eligibility, prior authorization, and appeals.
