Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Account Manager (SAM) to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies and promote AUVELITY for major depressive disorder in adults. The role is field-based, requiring access to clinics or hospitals, with engagement through digital channels where possible.

The SAM will build territory plans, manage customer relationships, and navigate payer policies while staying within approved labeling. Travel and training are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management.
• 5 years of consistent top performance in the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical sales space.
• Psychiatry/CNS experience strongly preferred.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live in the territory's geography.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed goals.
• Promote within approved labeling in an ethical manner per guidelines.
• Develop strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs.
• Serve as a resource to customers on payer policies and processes.
