Job summary

B&T USA in Herriman, UT is seeking a skilled Machine Shop Supervisor to coordinate and execute work in the CNC shop. You will oversee daily operations, direct assigned personnel, support production goals, and promote a culture prioritizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in a machine shop, proven supervisory experience, and familiarity with ATF compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least five years of experience in a machine shop or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic knowledge of applicable ATF compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the CNC machine shop.
• Plan and coordinate daily shop activities to support production priorities and efficient workflow.
• Supervise CNC Machinists, Setup Technicians, and Welders; assign duties and schedule work.
• Develop, review, and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and production demands.
• Evaluate shop performance and implement continuous-improvement strategies for equipment, processes, quality, and efficiency.
• Determine tooling, parts, supplies, and services required to complete work in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on new part projects and manufacturing-process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and environmental standards.
• Provide clear leadership, coaching, and support to assigned personnel.
