Job summary

ATC Drivetrain is seeking a machining leader to oversee engineering and production support for CNC, general machining, and CMM activities. You will manage the machining team, drive process improvements, and ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

You will lead PFMEA/Control Plan development, review documentation, and collaborate with design teams to optimize fixtures and processes. Strong GD&T/CMM experience and IATF 16949 knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 10 years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience in machining processes and quality systems (IATF 16949).
• Familiarity with GD&T and CMMs.

Responsibilities

• Initiates Engineering Change Requests for machining processes.
• Develops PFMEA, Control Plan, and Operating Instructions for machining.
• Oversees first article samples and capability studies for new processes.
• Reviews customer or contractual docs to ensure machining requirements are met.
• Drives continuous improvement to boost uptime and reduce cycle times.
