UMC in Monticello, MN is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate and set up machines, ensure quality, and support the quality team. You will troubleshoot, document in-process inspections, and help maintain safety.

Requirements include a two-year certificate in machine trades and 2+ years CNC milling experience; proficiency in GD&T; ability to read blueprints and interpret G-code; strong problem-solving and teamwork; onsite schedule Friday-Sunday.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate in machine trades preferred.
• 2+ years CNC milling experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements.

Responsabilités

• Independently set up and operate machines for all jobs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues with support from Supervisors and Engineers to ensure smooth production flow.
• Conduct in-process inspections of machined products, documenting results to ensure products meet specifications.
• Assist Machinists in diagnosing and resolving technical issues during machining operations, using analytical problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe working environment, upholding a proactive safety culture by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
