Job summary

UMC in Monticello, MN is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our second-generation manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the daily operation, setup, and quality assurance of machines in your area, contributing to production goals and a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of CNC experience, a certificate in machine trades, experience with CMM/VCMM and GD&T, and a proven ability to read blueprints, measure parts, and document results.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate in machine trades preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in CNC machining.
• Experience with CMM/VCMM and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for various jobs; seek supervision for complex setups.
• Operate machines safely and inspect parts to spec.
• Document inspections and maintain logs.
• Assist in process improvements with Engineering.
• Train others on machine operation.
• Maintain safe working environment.
