Job summary

Ultra Machining Company in Monticello, MN is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate machines, inspect parts, and support the quality team. You will work to maintain production efficiency while following our core values—Great People, Going Beyond, and Growing.

This onsite role includes a Friday–Sunday schedule with early start times. The position requires a two-year machine trades certificate and 2+ years of CNC milling experience.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate in machine trades preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in CNC milling.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate machines for all jobs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues with support from Supervisors and Engineers to ensure smooth production flow.
• Conduct in-process inspections of machined products and document results to ensure specifications.
• Assist Machinists in diagnosing and resolving technical issues during machining operations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe working environment and uphold a proactive safety culture.
