Job summary

Mega Force Staffing Group in Aberdeen, NC is seeking a reliable CNC Machinist to operate CNC mills and lathes, read complex blueprints, and ensure precision parts meet strict quality standards.

You will set up machines, run programs, perform tool offsets, and inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, maintaining safety and production schedules. Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime Fridays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and specifications.
• Strong math skills and understanding of machining tolerances.
• Solid work history demonstrating reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Set up CNC milling and turning machines.
• Load tools, fixtures, and materials per job requirements.
• Run and adjust CNC programs to maintain quality.
• Perform tool offsets, wear adjustments, and basic edits to programs.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make corrections.
• Maintain production schedules and meet quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
