OPW Global in Whitsett, NC is seeking a CNC machine operator to run mills and lathes and inspect parts to meet quality standards. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up tooling, and performing standard inspections with Go/No-go gauges, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

You will load bars, manage coolant flow, and adhere to safety procedures while contributing to continuous improvement in a production environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Machining or trade school preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Basic arithmetic and shop math skills required.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.

Mansioni

• Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce valve and regulator parts.
• Read blueprints and set up machines for production runs.
• Perform in-process and final quality checks with gauging equipment.
• Maintain safe work practices and perform basic preventative maintenance.
