Job summary

Marquee Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, meeting production schedules, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing tool changes and offsets, inspecting parts with micrometers and calipers, and maintaining tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC lathe machining experience.
• G-code programming and machine setup experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong blueprint reading and machining math skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently on 2nd shift.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to machine metallic materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Monitor tool life and perform basic deburring or rework as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve machining processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
